Arizona voter registration closes Oct 5 for the November 3, 2026 election. Every deadline — registration, mail ballot and early voting — with the official source for each.

Register online (requires an Arizona driver license or non-operating ID) by 11:59 PM on October 5. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked on or before October 5 and reach the County Recorder by 7:00 PM on Election Day. Register in person at your County Recorder's office by October 5 (office hours apply; statute sets the cutoff at midnight of the 29th day before the election).
Early voting begins and early ballots are mailed. On-site early voting locations and hours are set by each County Recorder. Regular in-person early voting at on-site locations runs through 7:00 PM on the Friday before the election. From then until 5:00 PM Monday Nov 2, 'emergency voting' is available in the manner set by each county's board of supervisors. No-excuse in-person early voting at county-established sites from Oct 7 through 7 PM Fri Oct 30; locations and hours vary by county. County-run emergency voting Sat Oct 31 - 5 PM Mon Nov 2.
A request for an early ballot by mail must be received by the County Recorder by 5:00 PM on Friday, October 23 (11th day before the election). Voters on the Active Early Voting List get a ballot automatically.
Early ballots must be RECEIVED by the County Recorder or dropped off at any polling place in the county by 7:00 PM on Election Day. Postmarks do not count.

In order to be counted and valid, the ballot must be received by the county recorder or other officer in charge of elections or deposited at any polling place in the county no later than 7:00 p.m. on election day.
