Mailed application must be postmarked by Monday, Oct 5, 2026. If it has no postmark, it must reach the county voter registrar by that date. Last day to register to vote is Monday, Oct 5, 2026 (delivered to the county voter registrar).

Application for Ballot by Mail must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) by the early voting clerk by Friday, Oct 23, 2026. Mail voting in Texas requires eligibility (e.g. 65+, disability, absence from county, confinement in jail).
Mail ballots must arrive by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026. A ballot postmarked by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day is still counted if it arrives by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 4, 2026. Mail can take days to get a postmark, so mail early. Military and overseas voters have later deadlines.
