Nevada voter registration closes Oct 6 for the November 3, 2026 election. Every deadline — registration, mail ballot and early voting — with the official source for each.

Mail registration must be postmarked (or received) by Tuesday, October 6, 2026 — the fourth Tuesday before the election. Regular in-person registration at the county clerk's office closes Tuesday, October 6, 2026. After that, same-day registration is available at early voting sites and Election Day polling places (see sameDay).
Early in-person voting starts Saturday, October 17, 2026. Early in-person voting ends Friday, October 30, 2026. Statewide window set by law (third Saturday before the election through the Friday before). Sites and hours are set by each county clerk; Sundays are excluded unless a county chooses to open. Weekday sites must be open at least 8 hours, Saturdays at least 4 hours.
Online registration (requires a Nevada DMV license or ID) stays open through Election Day, but if you register online within 14 days of the election you must vote in person (early voting or Election Day), not by mail. You can register and vote in person at any early voting site (Oct 17–30) or at any Election Day polling place in your county (Nov 3, before polls close). Bring a current, valid Nevada DMV driver's license or ID card; if it doesn't show your current address, bring a document such as a utility bill, bank statement or paycheck showing it. You may have to vote a provisional ballot.
Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Election Day (Nov 3) and received by the county clerk by 5:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2026. Hand-delivered ballots and drop-box ballots must be in before polls close on Nov 3. Ballots with an unreadable postmark count if received by 5:00 PM Friday, November 6.
