Submit your online registration by midnight on Monday, October 5, 2026. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked no later than Monday, October 5, 2026. Hand-deliver your registration to the county voter registration office by close of business Monday, October 5, 2026 (5:00 PM if delivered to the Indiana Election Division).
Early in-person (absentee in-person) voting begins Tuesday, October 6, 2026; no reason needed. Early voting ends at noon local time on Monday, November 2, 2026; voters in line at noon may still vote. The 28-day window is set by state law; locations (clerk's office plus any satellite sites) and daily hours are set by each county.
Your application to vote by mail must be received by your county (or the Indiana Election Division) by 11:59 PM Thursday, October 22, 2026. Voting by mail in Indiana requires a qualifying reason.
Your county election board must receive your absentee ballot by 6:00 PM local time on Election Day; postmarks do not count (different rules for military/overseas voters).

MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2026 ... DEADLINE, not later than midnight, for an eligible applicant to submit a completed voter registration application online on the secure website provided by the state in accordance with IC 3-7-26.7 so that the voter can be registered for the general election.
