Last day to register to vote (including online) for the November 3 General Election is Monday, October 5, 2026. The registration deadline is Monday, October 5, 2026. Official sources checked do not say whether a mailed form must be postmarked or received by then. Last day to register in person is Monday, October 5, 2026.
In-person early (advance) voting begins Tuesday, October 13, 2026 (moved from Monday, Oct 12, a state holiday). Early voting ends Friday, October 30, 2026. Statewide window Oct 13-30, 2026, with mandatory Saturday voting on Oct 17 and Oct 24. Counties may also offer Sunday voting on Oct 18 and/or Oct 25. Sites and daily hours are set by each county; vote at any early voting site in your county.
Request your absentee ballot (no excuse needed) by Friday, October 23, 2026. Requests opened August 17. Apply well before the deadline so the ballot can reach you and get back to your county by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Your county election office must receive your absentee ballot by the close of polls (7 p.m.) on Election Day. A postmark does not count (except for eligible military/overseas ballots).
