Submit your online application by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, October 5, 2026 (the book-closing date). In the Central Time part of the Panhandle that is 10:59 p.m. local time. Mailed applications with a clear postmark dated on or before Monday, October 5, 2026 count as on time. Hand-deliver your application to a Supervisor of Elections office, driver license office or voter registration agency by Monday, October 5, 2026.
Your county Supervisor of Elections must receive your request for a mailed ballot by 5 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026.
The statewide required early voting period starts Saturday, October 24, 2026. Your county may start as early as Monday, October 19. The statewide required early voting period ends Saturday, October 31, 2026. Your county may add Sunday, November 1. Every county must offer early voting Oct 24-31, 2026. Counties may add optional days from Oct 19-23 and/or Sunday, Nov 1. Sites and hours are set by each county Supervisor of Elections.
Your Supervisor of Elections office must receive your ballot by 7 p.m. local time on Election Day. A postmark does not count (overseas voters get a 10-day extension).

If you are not already registered to vote in Florida, you must register no later than 29 days before the election in which you wish to vote. With the RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov system, you have until 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) of the last day to submit an electronic application.
The registration date for a valid initial voter registration application that has been mailed to a driver license office, a voter registration agency, an armed forces recruitment office, the division, or the office of any supervisor in the state and bears a clear postmark is the date of that postmark.
