Oklahoma law sets a single statewide date for general municipal elections: the first Tuesday in April of each odd-numbered year, which is Tuesday, April 6, 2027. Cities that govern themselves under their own home-rule charter (Oklahoma City and Tulsa, among others) are exempt from this schedule and set their own election dates, so check with your county election board if you live in a charter city.
